Please LOL with me while we watch my $60,000 movie!

The good, the bad, and the OH MY GOSH of cell phones (smart phones).

The good:
The cellular phone helps us in cases of emergencies. We have a line of communication anywhere we go. The cellular phone is also a great tool to help the forgetful. I can't remember all (3 friends and 6 family members) phone numbers, email addresses, facebook names, home address, and birthdays.

The bad:
We feel unsecure without it. If the battery dies, the world is going to end. We are talking ALL the time. We get into more accidents because we try to balance the phone, eat our burger, and drive with our knees.

The OMG!:
We are so irresponsible about technology. In this article, there is a story about a guy who downloaded the movie Wall-E for his nephew to watch, while in Mexico. Although it was not on his cell phone, it was a wireless card from his cell phone carrier. He racked up $62,000 while downloading. Yikes, luckily the carrier was really nice; they reduced it to $17,000. Gosh...that kindness just brought a really warm nauseous feeling to my stomach!

Have you ever read the small print of your contract with your carrier?

If not, you might get screwed.
